A Shot of Java

Having worked in the coffee industry for a long (LONG) time, I LOVE a great cup of coffee! You'll find that and more at A Shot of Java in downtown Glendale. Located at 7003 N. 58th ave, right behind Pizza Old Roma, A Shot of Java offers incredible coffee, delicious espresso beverages and the best chai around. You can enjoy your joe while taking advantage of their  cozy chairs and wi-fi. Relax in the cozy shop or on the charming, light strung patio. Its a great place to people watch and enjoy our beautiful weather! The staff and owner Lisa are friendly and knowledgable and always happy to answer your coffee questions. On Fridays, have a blast doing karokee from 7-10pm. They also showcase live music. On Saturday April 2nd, come out and enjoy spanish guitar, blues and jazz performed by Nikolas from 1-3pm and folk artists Larry Hill and Friends at 7pm. MAIZIE'S

Located on Central, just South of Camelback, Maizie's is not only hip with a great vibe, but the food is incredible! On Monday's, you can enjoy one of their fantastic burgers with fries for only $4! (you just need to purchase a beverage). I enjoyed the best burger I've ever had just this evening! I also HIGHLY recommend the California spinach salad! They have a fantastic wine selection and the staff is laid back and fun. On Saturday and Sunday, they offer brunch with $3 bloody mary's and mimosa's.
